I recently put myself on a temporary (hopefully, cheap mac makeup!) denim ban, unless they’re an outrageous deal.  Why am I on that ban?  Most likely due to my latest arrival of Kasil Jeans.  I now have three towering stacks of denim in my closet and I think I need to go through them or slow down a little bit.  I don’t like ditching things until I’ve fully used them, so it’s going to be the latter for now.

To see just what 4 pairs of denim sent my piles tumbling down, please continue!

Noelle, Baltic Blue, mac makeup, Size 30

Lola, Fog (Gray). Size 30

Sierra, Atlantic, Size 30

Devious, Tristan, Size 30

The Noelle and the Sierra both fit pretty TTS for me, with the Lola being only a smidge small and the Tristan Devious being kind of difficult to squeeze into.    I’ve heard around Chick Chat that if I wear them for a day, they’ll loosen up and should fit TTS.  I’ll wear them around the house with tags on in case I need to return them or put them up on the swap group, wholesale mac makeup, but I hope they all fit.

The Lolas are my first pair of light gray jeans (Aristocrat Kent in Titan were my first gray jeans in general) and I’m in love.  I can’t wait to step outside of my comfort zone with all the sucess I’m having.

I love the fit of these jeans and think that the only problem I have with them is something I’m just seeing now when I look at the pictures – the creases that run up and down my thighs.  I’m hoping it’s not a too tight issue and is just because I was trying on all these jeans in a 5 minute period (NCIS commercial, lol).  I guess I’ll find out!

Many of these styles are on RTC, be sure to snatch them up!

Smooth and magnificent legs for  those Morphine Generation Sailor Shorts!

Skip your trip to the salon, and save yourself a little bit of cash. Learning how to do salon services yourself will give you more money to spend at RTC.

Leg Wax

Step 1: Pick your product. Two great options are Aussie Nad’s, ($18.99 at www.drugstore.com), and Sally Hansen Spa Wax Hair Removal Kit ($9.99 at www.walgreens.com). Nad’s is an all-natural gel, while Sally Hansen contains a soothing blend of lavender and vitamins. Both products come with applicators and enough hair removal strips for several waxings. No worries about sensitive skin – both are dermatologist tested (and smell yummy, too).

Step 2: Clean up. Shower to strip your skin of oils, and then dry off for an hour. Hair must be 1/4 to 1/2 of an inch long for waxing, so for best results be sure you have the right amount of growth.

Step 3: Ready, set, wax! If using the Sally Hansen, cheap mac makeup, nuke it for 30 seconds in the microwave-no need to heat the Nad’s. Apply a thin coat of wax on a four- to five-inch section of your leg in the same direction of your hair growth, then smooth a removal strip over the area. Stroke the strip twice (it helps bind the wax to your hair), and rip it off as quickly as possible. It’ll hurt, but a slow rip means hair won’t come off,mac makeup wholesale, and this is not a process you’ll want to repeat too many times, wholesale mac makeup!

Step 4: Relax. Apply pressure to the area you waxed, and realize that post-waxing redness will linger for several hours. If using Nad’s, rinse the waxed area with cool water. If using the Sally Hansen, wipe the skin with the Azulene Finishing Oil, included in the kit. Now take a deep breath; you’ve just given yourself a spa-quality treatment for a fraction of the price!

Black Orchid Black Skinny Jeans

Can your jeans really make you look skinny or fat? Well, yeah! DUH! Ask a guy and they may think you’re crazy, mac makeup wholesale, but as women we know. It’s all in the fabric, the wash, the butt pockets, wholesale mac makeup, and of course the style.

When skinny jeans, or tapered leg jeans, made their come back I was not on board. Come on, when you see a toothpick thin model wearing toothpick jeans, yeah, cheap mac makeup, she is going to look good in them. I was thinking, I have curves, I’m short, they will only make my hips look huge. This style is definitely something that needs to be tried. I soon realized after trying on a pair that I liked the way they made me look. Paired with heels, a longer leaner look, I really think this look exudes confidence.

I recently made my first purchase on redtagcrazy.com, Black Orchid black skinny jeans. I was so excited when they arrived. I put them on, and didn’t take them off. They were slightly tight, but the super soft fabric is also very stretchy. The butt pockets are just the right size, they make my rear look higher and a bit more round. I feel the back pockets are really important for that perfect pair of jeans. If the pockets are too small the butt can look bigger than you want, same with no pockets. If the pockets are too big and placed really low, it can make the bum look flat. I am not sure if Black Orchid only makes pants or if they make other clothing as well, but they definitely make a great jean. I was so pleased with the fit, I bought them in the jade wash, I will write more on that when I get them.

I want to add that the inseam on these jeans is very long. I think the black ones are 34″(I might be off a little). I am only about 5′3″, the inseam is not an issue with these pants. The way these pants are cut, they are perfect with flats or heels. Buy these, you will love them too!

I am a huge Glamour magazine reader. When it comes in the mail every month I am thrilled. They have such wonderful ideas and fun things to read. I ran across a great story on the top purchases for spring and it got me excited to share with my RTC lovely ladies. Spring is approaching fast and so let us get to picking the right purchases for spring, bc if Glamour knows anything, they know style.

**A SUPER BRIGHT MINI**

Armani Exchange $89.00 Ann Taylor $39.50

Time to show off those pretty gams ladies, and what better way to do so then with a mini. Glamour suggests picking a mini in fruity shades (lemon, cheap mac makeup, plum, mac makeup wholesale, and tangerine). Also add touches like pleating, flowers and sparkle. Dress them up with heels or keep them cute with some flip flops. Go light on accessories. Let the dress be the main focusJ

***A BOHO MAXI***

Old Navy $25.00  Ella Moss Knit Gown $189.00

Want to look chic without any effort? Try a flowy pretty patterned dress. The maxi was a big hit last summer and luckily it is back this summer ladies. Add some flip flops and some cute bangles with beachy hair and you are set to go.

***A FRILLY BLOUSE***

Bebe Design $89.00  Walter Silk Waffle blouse (Dillards) $188.00

How to dress up your denim or basic black skirt this spring you ask? Well, a beautiful frilly top works wonders. Ruffly tops, girly patterns, bow necks, wholesale mac makeup, silky, sheer. You really cannot go wrong.

***A CHIC STRIPED TOP***

Tommy Hilfiger $31.15 Tommy Hilfiger $41.65

Sailor stripes are so dreamy. They come in different sizes and different colors and scream a sexy boat ride with champagne and sunshine. What a way to start off spring. Dress it up or down. Pair with heels or sailor shorts and flats. Just be sure to have fun with it.

***PRETTY PENCIL SKIRT***

Ann Taylor $44.99  Victoria Secrets $19.50

Do you own one? Well you should. Pencil skirts can transform your body into the wonderful hourglass shape. You can dress it down with a tee and belt or glam with some stilettos and add some sexy patterned tights. You can get your skirt in different textures, prints or colors.

**COLORFUL SANDALS**

Michael Kors $298.00  Gap $14.99

Brights are big for spring. Not feeling like wearing bright colors, that is fine. Go ahead and wear your dark colors, but how about go crazy from the ankle down. Flats or chunky wedge heels in bright fun colors are all the rage.

Stay tuned for the last five Glamour spring style.

Golden Gladiator

Go for Gold!

Bold in Bronze

Best of Both Worlds

Simply Elegant

Colorful Pearls

Bibs are In

I got a request from Erin to see if I could look up some accessories to go along with her Zensei V Neck Sleeveless Dress (which she looks FABULOUS in). Here are some pictures of the dress:

Since this is such a versatile dress I am going to do one blog entry for evening and one for casual. I will start out with the evening looks since I found some incredible stuff!

Shoes

Enzo Angiolini Nilla Sandal in Gold

I think as far as evening goes gold just fits! These cute gladiators have just enough flash and a little bit of a heel. Definitely comfortable enough for dancing all night! These Enzo Angiolini Nilla Sandal are made from leather, have a 1 1/4″ heel, and are about $59 through Endless.com

Michael Antonio Owen Gladiator Sandal

Since this dress has very simple embellishment you can get away with some fun and wild shoes! These lace up gladiators cover the calves which will look amazing with the length on this dress. The spike heel also adds a bit of glam to the overall look. These shoes are made of synthetic materials, mac makeup, the heel is 4 1/2″ inches, and these shoes retail for about $65 on Endless.com.

Naturalizer Praliso Sandal

Gold isn’t really your thing? Then how about bronze! It has shine, great color, and looks very elegant for a night on the town. This Naturalizer Praliso Sandal has a beautiful classic look to it. Also, if you feel more adventurous this shoe also comes in a leopard print! This one is made of leather, has a 3 3/4″ heel, and is about $48 on Endless.com.

Two Lips Women’s Galaxy Ankle Strap Sandal

Like the idea of BOTH colors? Try this shoe from Two Lips! The embellishments are in bronze and the rest of the sandal is in gold. Since the Zensei is simplified you can really go wild with the shoes! These Two Lips Galaxy sandals are synthetic, have a 3 3/4″ heel, and run about $50 on Endless.com.

Jewelry

SimplyGems Bronze Pearl Bracelet

Now I am not usually one for bracelets, but this is absolutely gorgeous! The shimmery bronze would work well with the Zenzei V Neck Sleeveless Dress in brown color. This bracelet is made with freshwater pearls and sterling silver oxidized beads from Bali. There are three sizes to choose from: 7″,mac makeup wholesale, 7.5″, and 8″. SimplyGems.com has this bracelet for $35-$45 depending on whether you want a lobster clasp or toggle clasp. They also offer a pair of matching earrings for $21!

Chocolate, Brown, wholesale mac makeup, Bronze, and Gold Freshwater Pearl Necklace

I love pearls for a nice evening out! This necklace is beautiful and very colorful. It still centers around the brown/bronze/gold theme which I really thinks look classy. You can pick up this necklace from DixieDazzle.com for $40.

Multi Ring Statement Bib Necklace

With a V neck you can pull of lots of different and fascinating necklaces. Bib necklaces are very in season right now and this particular necklace has the right colors to go well with the Zensei dress. The entire necklace is 20″ and runs about $29 on PortiaJewelry.com.

These are just some starting ideas. Since the dress has a great fit with simple embellishments, that leaves you free to let your imagination run wild on accessories!

Hello! So I’ve had this package for about two weeks now but didn’t have time to take pictures. My favorite things out of my package were the dresses I got so let’s start with them

Akiko Audrina Dress: Fuschia, Large

So pretty much I love this dress. I’ve never been particularly fond of pink (I just don’t really look that great in it…) but this dress looked so darn cute and I love ruffles that I just had to try it. Plus the price was just so darn good on it. Anyways, it was a great buy and the ruffles are very figure flattering in that they hide imperfections like food babies. I’m waiting for an opportunity to wear this out.

BB Dakota Groove Dress: Ink, Large

This dress is so so soft and adorable. I really cannot emphasize enough how it’s really soft and such a cute flowy dress. A lot of gals had mentioned that it was slightly small and I must say, the waist part is a little bit unyielding. I heard a tiny tear noise when I put it on (oh no!) but thank goodness, wholesale mac makeup, upon inspection, the dress was fine. I think one just needs to be careful when putting it on. At any rate, I love it and aside from the waist, cheap mac makeup, I think it’s pretty TTS.

So those are the two dresses I got. I think these are my favorite purchases on RTC so far (aside from denim… nothing can really replace my denim obsession). I look forward to finding some other equally adorable dresses, mac makeup wholesale, perhaps ones that are more casual-y for everyday wear.

I don’t know what made me title my blog “Just a Peek,” because, really, the points in the questionnaire are highlights that most people, except for maybe Jay Leno, wouldn’t just normally walk up on the street and ask someone, so I consider it a little more than a peek. Probably more than a glimpse. Maybe a snapshot. Okay, cheap mac makeup, so a snapshot of my …life? I don’t know how to phrase it, but here I go to try to adequately and succinctly answer the questions in what will hopefully be a fun way. (-:

RTC Chat Name: Trixiebell

Profession: Johnson Family COO, CEO of MTJ Properties LLC, Owner of A Treat from My Day Catering, and Childcare Administrator at my local gym

…and, if you really want to get technical: taxi driver, maid, dry cleaner, pto member, cook, tutor, bookkeeper, counselor, diplomacy representative, childcare faciliator, referee, nurse, entertainment coordinator, social planner, wardrobe advisor, spousal support leader, lingerie model, and sleep study patient (not really).

Hidden Talent: I love to bake

I also had a vocal scholarship going into my freshman year of college (however, I threw it away to transfer to another university in pursuit of an engineering degree)

Most Embarrassing Moment: Having to talk to another parent after my son ankled his daughter on the playground at school (they were only in kindergarten, but it was still completely embarrassing)

Guilty Pleasure: Going to the gym for a few hours and then coming home and eating a whole bag of sour gummy worms

Something that Makes Me Cringe: Hearing the phone ring - I hate talking on the phone (not that I have time… see my answer to the profession question)

My Celebrity Crush: Male: probably Hugh Jackman… but only when he hasn’t shaved in a few days!  Oooh baby!  (-:  Bring on the scruff!!!!   Female: Kat von D – she is hottt with a rockin’ attitude! (not to be confused with “I want her!” I have a girl crush on her in a cool way… I just really admire her… I don’t know… she just makes being female seem very chic in a weird way – maybe it’s not a girl crush as much as I just think she rocks. I hope that makes sense!)

Item of Clothes I Cannot Live Without: Well, in all honesty, you all might shoot me for the whole TMI issue, but truthfully, I have a true fetish with underwear.  I mean, I guess if I HAVE to live without it, it is entirely possible for a person to live without it; however, I cannot walk through a store without stopping a the underwear section and looking to see if there is something new that I might be missing.  It has gotten me in a great deal of trouble.  Picture this: for the last 15 years I have fallen prey to this ridiculous problem.  (I should probably seek out a therapy group.) Now, if I were to go shopping at places like Victoria’s Secret say, once a month, and buy the 5/$25 deal, that is 60 pair of underwear per year over 15 years totaling …900 pair of underwear.  Unfortunately (fortunately??) I don’t go to VS once a month – I stop all over the place! I probably have more than that!!!  It won’t all fit in my dresser and I have to change it all out like most people have to change their clothes out every season.  It is really rather sad.  It is compulsory and I’m not sure I will ever be able to stop.  The good part is that I really do wear them all until they are dead and I have actually thrown away some this year because I used them until they were threadbare.  But, if I had to pick something I couldn’t live without, it would have to be panties… the frilly, cute, mostly thong-type underwear.  I apologize for the TMI!  (-;

Where Do I Want to Be Right Now? Hmmm. That is certainly a loaded question. Right this minute, I would really like to be at the gym, but there is a very long story as to why I no longer go to the gym on Saturday mornings, so that really doesn’t count as an answer.  In general, I would love to be on a second honeymoon with my husband because in March we celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary and we always said that we would do something very special to commemmorate it; however, at the time, I don’t think we were counting on having three children under 7 and a few other things on the plate set before us.  My dream is Venice, Rome or Egypt.  I would settle for a B&B in Napa Valley or Martha’s Vineyard though.  (I think I deserve it after my lengthy list of daily requirements… LOLOL!)

Why Do I Love RTC? I stumbled on RTC after reading an article in a magazine put out by Consumer Reports.  The review was terrific and I had to check it out for myself, because I am always into saving money, especially if it means I can buy clothes for myself at a great deal.  (-:  The first time I hit the site, I came up on the Akiko Paris dress – it was the last one, it was my size, it was a great deal, and it became mine.  I was hooked on RTC from that point on.  Not only have I been attracted to the amazing brands of clothes (I’m in looooove with Aude and SV, in case nobody noticed… LOLOL!) and even more amazing deals that they have been able to offer, we became great friends!   Of course, just like any relationship, we have been happy and sad, I’ve gotten my heart broken and then gotten over it, we’ve been through ups and downs and there have been misunderstandings and resolutions, but the overall relationship has been absolutely outstanding because of the willingness on their part to maintain such a dedication to the friendship.  It is that kind of dedication that keeps a friendship strong, mac makeup wholesale, and that kind of strength is something that keeps me coming back for more.  My experience with the cheerful customer service, especially when I had to send some stuff back – and it took a long time to get it sorted out – I was just so impressed at how patient and kind they were, even though it could have gone a different direction.  I don’t always find something that I absolutely fall in love with when I’m shopping, but the people behind the Pink are what keep me coming back again and again.

I suppose that this doesn’t really constitute succinct, now that I’m stopping to think about it and actually going back over the whole thing!!  It looks like I got a little carried away with my wordiness; for that I truly apologize.  I tend to do that sometimes.  I often think about something and then tend to add something else to what I already had to say.  Then, I will be on another subject and remember something I wanted to say before and go back and add to that last part.  (It happens when I’m talking, mac makeup, too, so it’s not just when I’m doing questionnaires.)  The government should be glad that the Census form is so simplistic.  (-:  They might find a lot of answers coming out of this house – I have a lot of things I would like to say.  LOLOL!  At any rate, I hope this helps with a few little fun things about me.  (-:  Little nuances about my quirky personality that actually are fun details to know about someone – I think this was a cute blog idea!  I can’t wait to see everyone else’s responses!  (-:
