I don’t know what made me title my blog “Just a Peek,” because, really, the points in the questionnaire are highlights that most people, except for maybe Jay Leno, wouldn’t just normally walk up on the street and ask someone, so I consider it a little more than a peek. Probably more than a glimpse. Maybe a snapshot. Okay,cheap mac makeup, so a snapshot of my …life? I don’t know how to phrase it, but here I go to try to adequately and succinctly answer the questions in what will hopefully be a fun way. (-:
RTC Chat Name: Trixiebell
Profession: Johnson Family COO, CEO of MTJ Properties LLC, Owner of A Treat from My Day Catering, and Childcare Administrator at my local gym
…and, if you really want to get technical: taxi driver, maid, dry cleaner, pto member, cook, tutor, bookkeeper, counselor, diplomacy representative, childcare faciliator, referee, nurse, entertainment coordinator, social planner, wardrobe advisor, spousal support leader, lingerie model, and sleep study patient (not really).
Hidden Talent: I love to bake
I also had a vocal scholarship going into my freshman year of college (however, I threw it away to transfer to another university in pursuit of an engineering degree)
Most Embarrassing Moment: Having to talk to another parent after my son ankled his daughter on the playground at school (they were only in kindergarten, but it was still completely embarrassing)
Guilty Pleasure: Going to the gym for a few hours and then coming home and eating a whole bag of sour gummy worms
Something that Makes Me Cringe: Hearing the phone ring - I hate talking on the phone (not that I have time… see my answer to the profession question)
My Celebrity Crush: Male: probably Hugh Jackman… but only when he hasn’t shaved in a few days! Oooh baby! (-: Bring on the scruff!!!! Female: Kat von D – she is hottt with a rockin’ attitude! (not to be confused with “I want her!” I have a girl crush on her in a cool way… I just really admire her… I don’t know… she just makes being female seem very chic in a weird way – maybe it’s not a girl crush as much as I just think she rocks. I hope that makes sense!)
Item of Clothes I Cannot Live Without: Well, in all honesty, you all might shoot me for the whole TMI issue, but truthfully, I have a true fetish with underwear. I mean, I guess if I HAVE to live without it, it is entirely possible for a person to live without it; however, I cannot walk through a store without stopping a the underwear section and looking to see if there is something new that I might be missing. It has gotten me in a great deal of trouble. Picture this: for the last 15 years I have fallen prey to this ridiculous problem. (I should probably seek out a therapy group.) Now, if I were to go shopping at places like Victoria’s Secret say, once a month, and buy the 5/$25 deal, that is 60 pair of underwear per year over 15 years totaling …900 pair of underwear. Unfortunately (fortunately??) I don’t go to VS once a month – I stop all over the place! I probably have more than that!!! It won’t all fit in my dresser and I have to change it all out like most people have to change their clothes out every season. It is really rather sad. It is compulsory and I’m not sure I will ever be able to stop. The good part is that I really do wear them all until they are dead and I have actually thrown away some this year because I used them until they were threadbare. But, if I had to pick something I couldn’t live without, it would have to be panties… the frilly, cute, mostly thong-type underwear. I apologize for the TMI! (-;
Where Do I Want to Be Right Now? Hmmm. That is certainly a loaded question. Right this minute, I would really like to be at the gym, but there is a very long story as to why I no longer go to the gym on Saturday mornings, so that really doesn’t count as an answer. In general, I would love to be on a second honeymoon with my husband because in March we celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary and we always said that we would do something very special to commemmorate it; however, at the time, I don’t think we were counting on having three children under 7 and a few other things on the plate set before us. My dream is Venice, Rome or Egypt. I would settle for a B&B in Napa Valley or Martha’s Vineyard though. (I think I deserve it after my lengthy list of daily requirements… LOLOL!)
Why Do I Love RTC? I stumbled on RTC after reading an article in a magazine put out by Consumer Reports. The review was terrific and I had to check it out for myself, because I am always into saving money, especially if it means I can buy clothes for myself at a great deal. (-: The first time I hit the site, I came up on the Akiko Paris dress – it was the last one, it was my size, it was a great deal, and it became mine. I was hooked on RTC from that point on. Not only have I been attracted to the amazing brands of clothes (I’m in looooove with Aude and SV, in case nobody noticed… LOLOL!) and even more amazing deals that they have been able to offer, we became great friends! Of course, just like any relationship, we have been happy and sad, I’ve gotten my heart broken and then gotten over it, we’ve been through ups and downs and there have been misunderstandings and resolutions, but the overall relationship has been absolutely outstanding because of the willingness on their part to maintain such a dedication to the friendship. It is that kind of dedication that keeps a friendship strong,mac makeup wholesale, and that kind of strength is something that keeps me coming back for more. My experience with the cheerful customer service, especially when I had to send some stuff back – and it took a long time to get it sorted out – I was just so impressed at how patient and kind they were, even though it could have gone a different direction. I don’t always find something that I absolutely fall in love with when I’m shopping, but the people behind the Pink are what keep me coming back again and again.
I suppose that this doesn’t really constitute succinct, now that I’m stopping to think about it and actually going back over the whole thing!! It looks like I got a little carried away with my wordiness; for that I truly apologize. I tend to do that sometimes. I often think about something and then tend to add something else to what I already had to say. Then, I will be on another subject and remember something I wanted to say before and go back and add to that last part. (It happens when I’m talking,mac makeup, too, so it’s not just when I’m doing questionnaires.) The government should be glad that the Census form is so simplistic. (-: They might find a lot of answers coming out of this house – I have a lot of things I would like to say. LOLOL! At any rate, I hope this helps with a few little fun things about me. (-: Little nuances about my quirky personality that actually are fun details to know about someone – I think this was a cute blog idea! I can’t wait to see everyone else’s responses! (-:
